Thematic Books
A few years ago I started using themes with my therapy groups for a variety of reasons. It was very engaging for my students. I was able to teach and reinforce a large amount of vocabulary and the themes typically coincided with current events at home or in the classroom. It also helped me organize my materials throughout the year. I started by collecting thematic books and my collection grows every year as I find new books for each theme. Here’s a visual walk through my thematic books! All of the books are linked in the Amazon Storefront (Some of the books are quite old, if they aren’t showing in my storefront then they are most likely discontinued or not available on amazon).
